1. What CodeCatch does

CodeCatch is a Shopify embedded app that connects to your Klaviyo account and scans your active email flows for static discount codes. It cross-references those codes against your Shopify discounts to flag expired or invalid codes.

2. Data we collect

We collect and store only what is necessary to provide the service:

• Your Shopify store domain and access token (to authenticate API requests)
• Your Shopify discount codes and their statuses (cached locally to power the audit)

We do not collect, store, or process any personal data about your customers. We do not read, store, or transmit the content of your Klaviyo emails beyond scanning them in memory for discount code strings during an active audit session.

3. How we use your data

Data is used solely to provide the discount code auditing functionality. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising or analytics.

4. Data storage

Your store session and discount code data is stored securely in an encrypted PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway (United States). Data is retained for as long as the app is installed on your store.

5. Data deletion

When you uninstall CodeCatch from your Shopify store, your session data is automatically removed. To request deletion of any remaining data, contact us at the email below.

6. Third-party services

CodeCatch interacts with the following third-party services on your behalf:

• Shopify — to authenticate your store and read discount codes. Governed by the Shopify Privacy Policy.
• Klaviyo — to read your email flow content during an audit. Governed by the Klaviyo Privacy Policy.
